Systems Advisor

In the System Advisor role, we can provide an initial assessment and periodic reviews for all parties involved and a voice to help a program get started or provide additional viewpoints throughout the implementation.

The Advisor role can be either short or long term.  This is a retainer based fee structure to help provide a framework to implement new enterprise system or program.  This type of structure eliminates the usual conflict of interest with the competing consulting firms, vying for more fees and services.

Example – Client A had bought various software systems and they were just beginning to implement them.  As Systems Advisor, we helped them understand the overall program – the software project was more than a ‘turnkey solution’, the client needed to understand and accept the priority of the systems to be implemented, the underlying data requirements, and the organizational change involved.  Helping the client understand all these changes were part of the ‘Systems Advisor’ role.

 

Systems Facilitator

In the role of Systems Facilitator, we are with you for the long haul and we dig into specific role(s) during various phases of the implementation.  Typically, the facilitator role will focus on both the detailed project planning and/or the change management plans necessary for program implementation. Pricing can be either retainer or time & materials based.

Example – Client B had a systems implementation project that had been stalled.  They were distraught over the effort required to implement the solution, so they had abandoned the project.  Kaizen Ocho was brought in to bring to light the intricate details that the software vendor had required of the client.  A detailed program assessment was done and Kaizen Ocho provided systems facilitation guidance throughout the project, putting together a comprehensive project plan that provided both parties the details and status update necessary to bring the project to a successful completion.
